We spent at least 40% a day in our houses and sometimes we don’t have time enough to keep it tidy or to erase the whole mess of the week; that’s why we can find thousands of magazines and sites on the internet that offer help when it comes to our home and garden. There are several tips that include food, garden, furniture, clean up, etc, which can help us to keep our house as we always wanted. Whenever we have free time or a small space in our daily lives we just want to rest, but at the same time we know we have a house to afford and many tasks to do in it, and the first things that come to our mind when we think about housework are two: home and garden. They are the two main facts we have to consider when we decide to have a family and a husband; home and garden are very easy to maintain but also consume much of our time that’s why we need to divide the activities so that at the end of the week, our house looks shinning.

Home
As we said before, our homes and gardens will steal much of our time to get the best out from them, but if we decide to organize our activities we can spend less time doing the housework and much more time resting; the first thing that involves our house is the dust, as a consequence we have to do the clean. This procedure is very simple, we only take a broom and sweep; this is true but there’s a way to make it even more simple, by the use of a vacuum cleaner; with the help of this apparatus we can perform all the clean up activities easier and more quickly. Once we’ve done this, we have to move to our furniture, here there’s not a simple and quickly way to do the job, we can’t save time but we can make the housework less “painful” if we decide to play music while we clean up. Home and garden tasks involve creativity and much work, but by the time we get used to we’ll see the clean up as a piece of cake. Once the furniture is shinning we’ll have to continue with our kitchen, is also a very demanding place but we’re not here to clean this time, but to cook. Cooking could be a tedious work for many housewives but it shouldn’t be seen that way, there are two options between we can choose, depending on our daily time and physical condition: we can cook all day long preparing food for the whole week or we just can go to the supermarket, buy some frozen food and keep it in the freezer till we need it. In case we choose the first option, there are many practical things we can cook: corn pies, jam and cheese pies, chicken portions, etc. It will demand a long time but we’ll have food for the rest of the week; as soon as we get home from work, we just need to go to the freezer and choose some of the food we have done during the week-end.

Garden
But everything here doesn’t only concern the house, since we’re speaking about home and garden; the back yard of our house is also very important and easy to maintain, however it will also take much time. Here we have two options for the care of our plants and flowers, we may hire a professional who comes twice a week to do the garden job or we can do it on our own by the end of the week, at least once in a while. Home and garden are the two main parts of any family, but some people believe that as we spend much more time inside the house, the garden doesn’t require much attention, but that’s wrong. Our lawn must be watered once a day, at least, otherwise we’ll run the risk to lose many of our plants; we may also have some inconvenient during the year that concerns ants or other types of bugs, in that case we need to use pesticide to eliminate them. If we notice our garden is not growing as it is supposed to, we’ll have to consult a specialist or ask for some advice, perhaps our flowers need fertilizers or a chemical treatment. Home and garden tasks also refer to swimming pools, they are also very hard to maintain and sometimes, very expensive; in this specific case we must be sure to clean it up once a week in order to eliminate the bacteria and fungus. Make sure that the filter works properly otherwise our health could be in danger if we have contact with the dirt accumulated in the water.
