One of the main factors to consider when we are about to do an air conditioning installing is the sizing of the room where it’ll be placed, the room that will be cooled must be measured properly so that we can determinate the cooling capacity of the unit. This is a very important issue since if the air conditioner capacity is bigger than it should, then it won’t be so effective, that will make us switch the console on and off all the time leaving the room cold and clammy. There are things people can do to make the air conditioning installing easier, first of all we must decide what kind of equipment we want, we must consider the planning of extending the house in the future or if we only need a solo console. We must find out if our house already counts with an air handling system that uses a ductwork that our future air conditioner would be able to use. Other fact we must consider is the heat that our room or building receives, the more heat the more cooling requirement we’ll need. We also have to consider the total of the window area and insulation we have plus correct information about the climate of the area we live. After considering all this facts, we can continue by choosing the right equipment for us and our needs, as we said before we can choose among 2 types, centralized and the solo consoles, we also have splits models that are more comfortable and easy to do an air conditioning installing and besides counts with a remote and specific functions that window consoles don’t include: sleeping mode, automatic in and on functions, systems against humidity, etc. The splits are the most successful since they are also very silent. |
