Some of us have seen in those thriller movies, the typical surveillance hidden camera in the shower mirror, we must say this is not fiction anymore; this device is also part of the spy equipment. Although this is a strange place to put the hidden camera, the mirrors are very used as its location; this mirror-camera counts with a cd player, a radio and a wireless video recorder which transmits what is happing in the room constantly. The spy equipment also includes keyloggers, their use involves computers since they capture certain information but not all of it; keyloggers are good in case the spies need to get secret data or passwords. There is also the keylogger software, this program is specialized in detecting vital information on the hard disk and the difference here, is that this software will send to the spies’ computer all the updated information by e-mail. Many people wonder if they can be detected, well is probable but not so possible, this gadget is about 2 cm in length and is located between the cable and the socket of the computer keyboard. We also have to add, that these types of devices are almost undetectable by any software, this becomes them into very efficient and confident device.

The spy equipments became very famous or popular for just one apparatus; the cameras. Cameras always caught the attention of everyone, and many of us have dreamed of getting one some day. But spies’ cameras are not the same; they have been evolving since they were invented, the main problem this device showed was the wires. Many spies’ procedures were discovered since, somehow, the wire was noticed, that’s why spies and some scientists started to work in order to get better spy equipments. But here the challenge was not only to improve the cameras, also to invent more technological devices that could help spies to perform their activities in better conditions with better results.

In this way we not only achieved wireless cameras but also cameras capable of taking pictures in different angles, with night vision characteristics, hard to detect and with many other applications. Today the spy equipment counts with night vision sun glasses, cameras hidden in shower mirrors, in furniture, mics located in mobile phones, line phones, etc. It was very hard to think in our past, that all this could be possible; the first tools used by spies were obsolete, sometimes the sound of each tape recorded wasn’t good enough to state what the person was doing, if they were involved in “dark” situations, or to establish their behaviour. Today technology achieved the spies’ devices making them more confident and almost impossible to be noticed by anyone, besides we can find more applications in them and a better resolution when we talk about cameras. We must be aware that most of the spy equipment is digital which means is more effective and leaves no room for doubts.
