Sunbathing and Skin Care
When someone decides to sunbathe, is exposed to certain radiations that the sun has, including ultraviolet radiations type A and B. Although this radiations stimulate the melanin production (responsible of the brown colour of the skin, the effect that many people want to get), are also very dangerous and are related with the production of stains in the skin and new types of cancer. The radiations act on the DNA cells causing cellular mutations and cancer, these radiations are also the cause of cataratas and pterigion when the person sunbathes for a long time.
Skin care
We introduce here several pieces of advise with the aim of avoiding the apparition of skin stains or serious skin diseases (tumors, skin cancer that includes basocelulares, espinocelulares tumors or malignant melanomas).
Sunbathe with an efficient sun block during the first week when the skin is exposed
Pour the sun block on the dry skin, 30 minutes before sunbathe.
Don’t leave any place of the skin without the sun block (ears, nose and mouth)
Control that the product stays on the skin and pour more of it if the skin has been in touch with the water.
Avoid the contact with the sun between 11hs and 16 hs (depending on the country you’re located)
Use specific products in kids according to their ages, their skin is more sensitive and needs specific care. |
